The Kid's Digs are run on the Bronze Age Settlement here at New Coghurst, so the children can be a part of the history we are currently uncovering!

We will cover:

  • a basic history of the Bronze Age period in Britain
  • how to use the archaeological tools
  • what to look for when digging
  • how to process and record findings

The Kid's Digs are led by archaeologist and Wilding in the Weald co-founder Cameron Ross who is heading the archaeological Bronze Age dig at the farm.
