Dig Week Pass (for adults)

For a one-time donation of £45. The Dig Week Pass entitles you to participate in the dig for as many of the following dates as you would like: 

Mon 6th April - Sun 12th April

Sun 17th May - Sat 23rd May

Sun 14th June - Fri 19th June

Sun 12th July - Fri 17th July

Sun 9th Aug - Sat 15th Aug

Mon 31st Aug - Sat 5th Sep

At New Coghurst we are currently excavating a Bronze Age settlement discovered here in 2023. We are welcoming anyone who would like to come and assist us with the excavation, for a unique and exciting way to engage with the ancient history of the British Isles. No previous experience is required, as supervision and tuition will be provided on site by lead archaeologist Cam Ross. 

 

Why not come and stay for the whole week? We run a series of ancestral skills and ecology workshops alongside our dig weeks, which present a great opportunity to immerse even deeper into our Ancient History. Weekly Dig Pass holders also receive a 20% discount when booking accommodation at the farm. 

 

We aim to keep the cost of attending the dig low, keeping it accessible to as many people as possible. Your contribution will go towards funding the archaeological dig, research and anaylsis of findings at New Coghurst Farm.
