June Dig Week Pass

For a one-time donation of £45, our June Dig Week Pass entitles you to participate in the dig for as many of the following dates as you would like: 

Monday 2nd June, Tuesday 3rd June, Weds 4th June, Thurs 5th June, Fri 6th June, Sat 7th June, Sun 8th June.

June Dig Week Workshops: 

Sunday 1st June - Smelting with Fergus

Saturday 7th June  - Flint-knapping with Mike 

Sunday 10th June - Looped Bags with Molly

At New Coghurst we are currently excavating a Bronze Age settlement discovered here in 2023. We are welcoming anyone who would like to come and assist us with the excavation, for a unique and exciting way to engage with the ancient history of the British Isles. No previous experience is required, as supervision and tuition will be provided on site by lead archaeologist Cam Ross. 

 

Why not come and stay for the whole week? We run a series of ancestral skills and ecology workshops alongside our dig weeks, which present a great opportunity to immerse even deeper into our Ancient History. We aim to keep the cost of attending the dig low, keeping it accessible to as many people as possible. Your contribution will go towards funding the archaeological dig, research and anaylsis of findings at New Coghurst Farm.
