Purchase one dig pass per day on site for any month a dig is on.
Digs run monthly (April - Sep).

Sun 17th May - Sat 23rd May (Roman site Eastlands farm (next door to new coghurst farm)
Sun 14th June - Fri 19th June
Sun 12th July - Fri 17th July
Sun 9th Aug - Sat 15th Aug
Mon 31st Aug - Sat 5th Sep
Each dig day runs between 09:30am - 16:00pm.
At New Coghurst we are currently excavating a Bronze Age settlement discovered here in 2023. We are welcoming anyone who would like to come and assist us with the excavation, for a unique and exciting way to engage with the ancient history of the British Isles. No previous experience is required, as supervision and tuition will be provided on site by lead archaeologist Cam Ross.
We try to keep the cost of joining the dig low to keep the experience accessible to as many people as possible. Your £10 contribution goes towards the ongoing costs of running the dig at New Coghurst Farm and enables us to keep the excavation project going.
