Primitive tool making for kids August 29th

Age: Geared towards 7yrs plus but younger (5 and up) can attend if parent is able to support

Cost: £18 (child and adult combined)

Date: August 29th 1pm-3.30pm

These monthly sessions explore how the people in the bronze age (and other periods of time in history) might have used natural materials such as wood, flint, cordage and more to make their tools. From bows and arrows to spears, (butter) knives, string and glue. Children will love the practical application of exploring how they did it back in history whist being hands on and able to take their own creations home with them.(one tool is made per session)Each session will focus on at least one tool. 

Parents to accompany children.

*There is a kids archaeological dig 10.30-12pm on August 29th also, Doing archaeology and primitive skills combined makes a great day out!*
