May Dig Week Pass

For a one-time donation of £45, our May Dig Week Pass entitles you to participate in the dig for as many of the following dates as you would like: 

Monday 5th May, Tues 6th May, Weds 7th May, Thurs 8th May, Fri 9th May, Sat 10th May, Sun 11th May.

Friday 9th May - Spring Foraging with Mike

Saturday 10th May - Rush Basketry with Molly

At New Coghurst we are currently excavating a Bronze Age settlement discovered here in 2023. We are welcoming anyone who would like to come and assist us with the excavation, for a unique and exciting way to engage with the ancient history of the British Isles. No previous experience is required, as supervision and tuition will be provided on site by lead archaeologist Cam Ross. 

 

Why not come and stay for the whole week? We run a series of ancestral skills and ecology workshops alongside our dig weeks, which present a great opportunity to immerse even deeper into our Ancient History. We aim to keep the cost of attending the dig low, keeping it accessible to as many people as possible. Your contribution will go towards funding the archaeological dig, research and anaylsis of findings at New Coghurst Farm.
